Ingredients
- 2 cups (500 mL) ketchup
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) white vinegar
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) lightly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) molasses
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp (5 mL) salt
Method
- Combine ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, salt and 1 cup (250 mL) water in medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, and then reduce to a simmer. Cook, stirring often, 15 to 20 min., until sauce thickens and coats back of spoon
